We all have aesthetic and performance goals. Often these are the goals that drive our daily actions and commitments. But, whether we realize it in the moment or not, human beings also have an innate desire to live long, fulfilling lives. It is a goal we all share. It is embedded in our DNA. Sadly, it is a goal that requires perspective and regular introspection…two things human beings struggle with at times. The goods news is that by doing CrossFit, you are ensuring, or at least working towards, that innate goal of independent longevity.
As it turns out, about 70% of deaths in the United States are a result of chronic disease. These are entirely preventable and avoidable. YOU have the power. Please take the time to read the linked blog article. It is simply an awesome reminder of why we (really) do what we do.
