The more knowledge you are equipped with, the better decisions you’ll be able to make. Get in the habit of checking food labels so that you can stop consuming unwanted sugar. The food industry is making Americans addicted to sugar, and hardly anybody realizes it. You’ll be shockingly surprised with which foods contain sugar.
Sugar is incredibly addictive. As it turns out, the brain lights up the same way it would when cocaine is taken. The reason we want those cookies, or that ice cream, is because we’ve been trained by the food industry to need sugar from a very young age. Take the power back. Take your life back.
