Since we’ll be spending the next 8 weeks with the overhead squat, it’s probably a good idea to become more acquainted with some of the details surrounding the movement. This is the hardest of the weighted squats (back squat, front squat, overhead squat), which means the ego must be left at the door. Even the strongest athletes out there are humbled daily by the challenges the OHS presents. Mobility, especially in the shoulders, is paramount to having success with this challenging movement.
