LIFT UP LUKE: Fundraiser WOD & Paleo Chili Cookoff!

Lift Up Luke – CrossFit WOD for Autism Awareness

This Saturday, October 26th, CrossFit Kinnick will be participating in an amazing cause that has brought together affiliates and top athletes from around the world.
Lift Up Luke is a charitable “competition of cause” with a heavy emphasis on “cause.” Lift Up Luke specifically seeks to raise $50,000 for the Autism Tree Project Foundation to support early diagnosis and treatment of Autism, as well as parent education.
We will be performing the workout in honor of Luke Everett and collecting donations for this foundation, which assists with education, advocacy, screening and mentoring for families impacted by autism.

5min AMRAP

4 Power Cleans (155/105)

24 Double Unders

We will be performing the workout from 8am-12pm. Please come out and show support for our fellow CrossFitters Josh, Mary, and LukeEverett!

To provide a fun way to donate we will be holding a Paleo Chili Cookoff!
To enter you can cook and bring a chili that sticks to these ingredient guidelines:
  • Acceptable ingredient items: All vegetables or fruits, black beans, sweet potatoes, all meats, olive oil, butter (obviously), coconut oil.

We will vote for the best chili with $1 representing one vote. Vote as many times as you like for your favorite! All of these proceeds go directly to the Lift Up Luke Fundraiser!

The winner with the most money (votes) will be crowned the “CrossFit Kinnick Paleo Chili Champ!”
