By popular demand I will be posting Zone Recipes and Meal Ideas for all of you to enjoy.Â I will be posting recipes for meals as well as simple ideas you can throw together.Â Its nice to have an eloborate meal when you have the time but whats more valuable is having a good list or idea of quick meals you can grab when you are on the go.Â In my opinion, being successful with the Zone takes preparation and planning.Â Having meat cooked or other protein sources available will make your life much easier.Â Fruits and veggies are easy because you dont have to cook them most of the time.Â If anyone has recipes or meal ideas they like to use please email me at Jeremy@Crossfitkinnick.com and I will be sure to post them up for everyone to see.Â Eat balanced and clean.
Here is the first recipe.Â This is one of my favorites.
Chili (serves 3 – 4 block meals)
2/3 cup of onion, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped, in garlic, cumin,
chili powder, and crushed red peppers
18oz ground meat (beef, chicken breast, or turkey breast – lean) until browned
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup black beans
1 cup kidney beans
~40 chopped olives
Fresh cilantro to taste
