On August 22nd we will be putting on a workshop covering The Zone Diet. Â This workshop will go over the basics of The Zone Diet as well as discussing meal ideas, meal preparation planning, hormone balancing, health benefits of the Zone Diet, controlling your insulin levels, and much more. Â Crossfit Headquarters highly recommends The Zone Diet as the best nutrition plan available. Â This Workshop will start at 12:00 pm (noon) and will last until 1:00pm or 1:30pm depending on questions and further discussion. Â Please let us know if you would like to attend and come ready with your questions, comments, and concerns. Â We plan to take all the fear and confusion out of the Zone Diet so that you can get on your way to clean and balanced eating.
WORLD CLASS FITNESS in 100 WORDS
- Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and NO sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.
- Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics:pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstands, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.
- Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. ROUTINE IS THE ENEMY. Keep workouts short and intense.
- Regularly learn and play new sports!
