Mike and Val are back from Russia. It was fitting that their first workout back was “Helen,” with her 21 Kettlebell Swings. It looks like they did come back with some great kettlebell technique. (I especially like the jeans.)

Murph

For time:
1 mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Squats
1 mile Run

Partition the pull-ups, push-ups, and squats as needed. Start and finish with a mile run. If you’ve got a twenty pound vest or body armor, wear it.

Substitutions: Scale to 1/2 or 1/4 as needed.

Run and Go Overhead

On August 6th, Henry got his first muscle-up.  On August 20th, he did a total of 36 muscle as part of the WOD.  Awesome job Henry!!!  Whose going to be the next one to get a muscle-up?

Muscle-ups

Substitutions: Thrusters: 95#, 65#, or 45#.  Muscle-ups: Pull-ups and Dips, 1 to 1.

“Tabata Something Else”

Today’s Workout:

Tabata Something Else

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.
