“Gwen”

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Yesterday we did Fran as the inaugural workout at the new box.  There just wasn’t any other workout that would have been fitting for that occasion.  Jake, Jeremy, Chris, Moe, Evan, Marvin, Patty, Dawn, Nan, Amy and I all put out solid efforts and left some fresh sweat on the floor of the new box.  Great job everyone.

Here is Amy doing some knees to elbows on the rings and Ron getting nasty with his pull-ups.

800m Runs

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

Here is Josh and I trying out the new slosh pipe. This thing definitely gives the obliques a workout trying to keep it level. Speed walking with it overhead is pretty amusing (imagine a drunken stagger up and down the street.)

Yesterday we finished up the pull-up system at the new box. It turned out pretty nice. Reminder, starting monday all classes will be held at the new box.

Today I’ll be spending the day at UC Riverside with Josh and Greg Everett for a seminar they’re putting on. I’m looking forward to having a chance to pick their brains a bit. It should be good times.

WOD:

Four rounds, each for time of:
800 meter run

Rest as needed between efforts.
